Our Big 4 Year Old

Laker had a birthday! It's been so fun watching him grow. He is so big now that he gets mad when I call him my baby :( I guess I better stop doing that. Grammie and Grandpa came over for the birthday festivities and brought awesome gifts with them! A shiny new car! Laker loved it! They also gave Laker a cool Indiana Jones pin. I don't think he'll want to trade that one at Disney World!

So the batman cake turned out AWESOME :) Sparkler candles were a hit on this little superhero's cake, they were so powerful that they threw off his aim!

Superhero's, fast cars, camera and bakugons...could this be heaven? I think so.

Laker had his first birthday party! Kind of crazy having such a bunch of youngsters, but I think it was pretty successful! I made these "bombs" that the evil Supervillian hid around the yard. The kids had to find the bombs before they exploded! The Supervillian also had power pods (waterballoons) that were hidden in his lair (sprinkler) that the kids had to run in and steel so the Supervillian would lose his power! We also gave the kids capes (made out of garbage bags/vinyl) and power bracelets. It was so fun.

Laker has such wonderful friends!

I think that between the superhero cupcakes (vanilla frosting w/red or blue sprinkles) and the villian cupcakes (dark purple w/green sprinkles), the villian cupcakes won...
Yah for cupcakes and coolaid!

Anna was totally awesome for bringing and setting up this fun bounce house. Between all the bumps and bruises there were laughs galore!

My tuckered out boys...
